Its that time again! These two little girls were born outside yesterday in the freezing cold. Luckily I happened to be delivering hay to the horses and saw them. Their momma is a first timer who was not impressed with the birthing process!! However now momma and babies and settled and doing very well. These are the first out of our new Billy Guapo.

Man, these past three days have been exhausting! I'd like to thank Samantha and Kayla for sticking with me here on the ranch with so many tough hours of animal care! We did lose a lamb to premature and complicated birthing, however the rest of the crew is doing great! We also managed to have lots of laughter and make some great memories as we worked! Women in agriculture!!!!

A little peice of heaven!

Nine years ago I left the city to return to my ranching roots. With my children, I found the perfect spot nestled at the base of Greenhorn mountain. The vision we started with and continue today is creating a place of healing and serenity for all creatures and humans who enter our gates. We continue our family traditions of raising Scottish Highland cattle, sheep and horses. Though I do not advertise besides word of mouth, any animal in need of a permanent loving home is welcome here and over the years many have found peace and comfort here. Our focus is on providing families and individuals with the oppertunity to come interact with all manner of animals, hike, play, relax, enjoy a campfire and amazing stars and find solice. We are non denominational, and welcome all who wish to reconnect with nature and love on some animals. Come see us!
