All our sage is hand made and blessed by Native American Gila River Pima for sacred Native blessings. Each piece is blessed throughout the process and two final blessings are done before they are shipped; one at dusk the night before and a final blessing at dawn. We can complete the process before they are completely dry, which we have done for many others but they will still need drying time befo

re use. Each bundle is packaged personally and signed by our creator along with his Tribal ID number. The traditional way of the O'odham Native is to first always ask the plant for permission before cutting and then to leave a small gift like tobacco or a piece of hair in place of what is taken. Our sage is crafted with love and blessed throughout the process by the Creator leaving a harmonious energy of love, life and balance upon each bundle. Our Creator is Akimel O'odham and is referred to as 'Pima' today, from the Gila River Indian Community which is just south of Phoenix AZ. O'odham's are descendants of the Hohokam meaning "those who have gone before" (Ancestors). They (literally) just disappeared around A.D. 1450, but left many artifacts and even villages behind. It's very interesting and reminds me of the Mayan culture and theories.
