Ready for a night of local food and drinks, live music, and community fun? Join us next month for the first-ever S**o Bites & Beats Downtown Block Party!
Hosted by S**o’s Economic Development Department in partnership with S**o Main Street and the Biddeford S**o Chamber of Commerce + Industry, this event will celebrate S**o’s thriving downtown business community.
S**O BITES & BEATS
DOWNTOWN BLOCK PARTY
🗓️Thursday, Sept. 10
🎶With live music by “Under the Covers”
⏱️5 to 8 p.m.
📍Pepperell Square, S**o
🌧️Rain date: Saturday, Sept. 12, featuring tunes by a local DJ
For one night only, we’re temporarily closing Pepperell Square for this event. For safety and setup, the square will have temporary “no parking” signs enforced starting at 1 p.m. on the event date. Pepperell Square will fully close to traffic at 2 p.m. and reopen after the event.
Under the Covers, a Portland-based cover band, has been getting crowds dancing for three decades! They’ll play favorites from the 1950s all the way through today’s hits.
Thanks to Pizza By Michael, we’ll have some marked accessible parking spaces for those with limited mobility right next to the block party in the pizza shop’s parking lot. For information about other public parking options in downtown S**o, please visit sacomaine.org/publicparking.
We’ll share more details as we get closer to the big night, including a list of participating downtown businesses, which will be showcasing their best bites and beverages for purchase.
