CPhA is now accepting presenter proposals for the 2027 California Pharmacy Exchange, taking place April 23–25, 2027, at the Sheraton Harbor Resort in San Diego.

We’re looking for pharmacy professionals who can share practical ideas, successful programs, innovative practice models, and lessons that can help colleagues advance patient care and pharmacy practice.

Presentation topics may include:
• Health systems administration
• Patient care services
• Community-based pharmacy
• Professional development

Congratulations to the California Northstate University College of Pharmacy Class of 2029 on celebrating their White Coat Ceremony!

CPhA was proud to see Dr. Melissa Kimura deliver the keynote address for this special milestone. Dr. Kimura is a graduate of CNUCOP’s Class of 2018, a Fellow of the California Pharmacists Association, CPhA Immediate Past President, and a leader who continues to make an impact across the pharmacy profession.

Her return to CNUCOP as keynote speaker represents an inspiring full-circle moment. Just a few years ago, she was a student pharmacist beginning her own professional journey. Today, she is helping inspire the next generation to pursue leadership, collaboration, advocacy, and meaningful service to patients and the profession.

The Peninsula Pharmacists Association (PPA) and CPhA recently came together for a membership event at the UCSF School of Pharmacy, connecting with student pharmacists and sharing more about the opportunities available through local and statewide involvement.

CPhA Presidents Dr. Ken Thai and Dr. Kevin Komoto joined the Chapman University School of Pharmacy - CUSP Class of 2029 White Coat Ceremony, helping welcome students as they take an important step forward in their pharmacy journey.

Dr. Thai also had the honor of serving as this year’s keynote speaker, sharing words of encouragement and perspective with the incoming class as they begin this next chapter.
