Cheyenne Repair Service - USA and Canada

We have received a lot of questions regarding procedure at the new US Repair shop so we compiled a list of the questions and have provided answers below.

Q: Is there a form we should use?
A: Please fill out this form and include it with each and every device you send us for repair.

Q: Is there a UPS account we should use to send the return / Which account number should we use?
A: Use the account number you were previously using to send repairs to Germany. If that number doesn’t work let us know and we will send you a new number.

Q: Is there an estimated turnaround time?
A: Currently one week from receipt of the device to repair to boxing for return shipping. We ship UPS Ground so it can take 7-10 Business Days for the machine to arrive after it has been given to UPS.
*Please note that turnaround time can vary greatly if the device is out of warranty and we have to wait to see if the customer wants to pay the repair fee or not – some people do not respond to email or text so it can take much longer to make the repair.

Q: Will repairs be sent back to us or directly back to the customer? Great question and the answer has two parts:
A: If the customer brought the device directly to you in person – those devices we will send back to you
A: If the customer shipped the device to you - those devices we will send directly back to the customer
**This may be new for some of you but this saves on the return shipping cost. If Cheyenne pays once to send the repairs back to each supplier and then the supplier were to use the Cheyenne account number to ship the repaired device back to the customer – Cheyenne would be paying twice the shipping and we don’t want that.

Q: If the repairs are sent back to the customer will (or can) we be notified of the return?
A: At the US Repair Shop we have a spreadsheet created expressly for this purpose.
A: The spreadsheet lists all relevant information and each supplier will get a copy so they can tell customers exactly what went on with their repair and when.

Q: May I know if there is a contact phone number we can put on the shipping label?
A: If you are asking for the contact number for the US Repair Shop – for when you ship all the broken devices in – that number is 541-408-6183.
