While I have extensive knowledge in clinical nutrition, my passion and expertise are in the management of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, weight management, and lifestyle change.

❤️ February is American Heart Month—and for me, it’s personal.

❤️ I’ve had multiple family members experience heart-related emergencies before age 40. One received a heart transplant, and another lives with an LVAD (I know, crappy genetics!). Genetics matter—but so do our daily choices.

❤️ As a dietitian with 15+ years of clinical experience, I specialize in weight management, cardiovascular disease, and type 2 diabetes.

❤️ When it comes to protecting your heart:
• Reduce sodium and saturated fat
• Increase fiber
• Add more omega-3s
