😂 Sometimes the best part of an appointment is when a family member has been paying attention.

One day they come in saying things like, “What was her fasting insulin?” “Have we checked inflammation markers?” and “What about her ferritin levels?”

Meanwhile, I’m sitting there wondering if they’ve secretly been attending medical school on the weekends. 😭👏

Healthcare would be a lot easier if every symptom had a simple answer.

Instead, some Mondays start with a story so wild I don’t know whether I should order labs, an echocardiogram, or a documentary crew. 😭

The good news? Most of the time there is a logical explanation. That’s why real conversations, real exams, and real medical decision-making still matter.

Ladies, a quick hormone tip...

A vaginal estrogen cream and a transdermal estrogen patch are NOT the same thing and can absolutely be used together when appropriate.

One is often used locally to support vaginal and urinary symptoms, while the other is used systemically to help support menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, and more.
