Covenant HealthCare was proud to support this year’s Walk to School Day by providing flashing safety lights to help keep students and families visible as they made their way to school.

💙 Every Child Has a Story.

Join us for the 6th Annual Covenant Kids Gala on Friday, October 9, as we come together to celebrate the stories of the children and families whose lives have been touched by the extraordinary care of Covenant HealthCare.

🎥 In this video, Kevin Riselay from the Covenant HealthCare Foundation and Brianne Brady from the RNICU share why this special evening matters—and how our community can help write the next chapter for our tiniest patients.

This years Gala proceeds will help purchase an ArcticSun for the RNICU. This specialized equipment provides targeted therapeutic hypothermia for newborns who experience a lack of oxygen before or during birth. By carefully lowering and gradually restoring a baby’s body temperature, the ArcticSun gives the brain time to recover and can help reduce the risk of permanent brain damage.

Because every child has a story. And together, we can be part of what comes next in their story.

🎒 More than 100 backpacks. Countless smiles. One caring Covenant HealthCare family.

We’re thrilled to share that this year’s Hands of Hope Backpack Drive was a huge success! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Covenant HealthCare team, we collected and distributed more than 100 backpacks filled with school supplies for the children and grandchildren of our employees—more than double last year’s total!

It was heartwarming to see families come together, with some little helpers picking out their backpacks alongside their parents, making the experience even more special.

One recipient shared:

“Your generosity means more to me than I could ever put into words. As a mom, being able to send my kids back to school with the supplies they need is something I never take for granted. Knowing that the people I work alongside cared enough to help my family is an incredibly humbling and beautiful feeling. I am so grateful to be part of the Covenant HealthCare family. I feel incredibly blessed to work alongside people who show kindness not only through their words, but through their actions.”

🐻🏍️ 20 years of bringing comfort to Covenant Kids!

More than 120 motorcyclists joined the 20th Annual Teddy Bear Run, delivering hundreds of new teddy bears and stuffed animals to Covenant Children’s Hospital.

Thank you to American Legion Riders Sanford MI Post 443 and everyone who helped continue this special tradition and bring smiles to our youngest patients! 💙💚🧸

For 20 years, the Sanford American Legion Riders Post 443 have brought the community together to support children receiving care at Covenant Children's Hospital.🧸

On Saturday, August 15, motorcyclists from across the region will ride together to deliver new teddy bears and stuffed animals to Covenant Kids, providing comfort to children throughout their healthcare journey. 🏍️

These bears are shared with pediatric patients across Covenant HealthCare, including inpatient and outpatient pediatric areas, surgical services, the Emergency Care Center, MedExpress and the Hospitality Cart.

Saturday, August 15, 2026

3 pm – Kickstands up from Sanford American Legion Riders Post 443
3:45–4 pm – Riders arrive, followed by remarks and teddy bear delivery
