1,200 calories is not sustainable.
Our bodies are not meant to run off 1,200 kcals/day.
For majority of people, our metabolic rate alone requires 1,400+ calories. This means that we need 1,400 calories to just function (think: brain function, digestion, breathing but WITHOUT any form of additional movement).
Now, if we want to add the goal of building muscle, we ideally want to be sure that we are in a caloric surplus (or you will make building muscle way harder than what it is).
So, ditch the low calories. Fuel your body. Give it what it needs. & see what happens to your body composition.
