🚨 FOOD DRIVE AT PALENCIA – TOMORROW! 🚨

🚚 Let’s fill a truck and fill some hearts! ❤️
Friends and neighbors — our local food banks are in urgent need of help and so this came together very fast, because the need is immediate!
Due to the ongoing government shutdown and disruption of SNAP benefits, local food banks are running dangerously low on supplies. Families are already feeling the impact.
We have rented a large truck and will be set up on Market Street tomorrow (Sunday) from 1.00 –5:00 PM, collecting food donations. It is our understanding, that currently perishable items are accepted as well. Every bit helps — and the food banks can’t wait.
We’ll be delivering everything to the Food Pantry in St Augustine first thing Monday when they reopen, so they can restock and continue serving families in need right away.
Aside from what's on their list in the image, generally most needed items include:
🥫 Canned proteins (tuna, chicken, beans, protein powders)
🍚 Rice, pasta, cereal
🥜 Peanut butter, shelf-stable milk
🍼 Baby formula, diapers, hygiene products
