The aesthetic industry has done a great job at selling “quick fixes.” But real, healthy, natural-looking results usually require consistency, maintenance, and realistic expectations.

The goal should never be to chase trends or look like someone else. It should be to support your skin in a way that ages well over time.

At Beauty in Science, we care far more about long-term skin health and balanced results than dramatic overnight change. Because the best aesthetic work usually isn’t obvious… it just makes you look refreshed, healthy, and confident.

You don’t need a 12-step skincare routine. You need consistency.

Most effective routines take 2–5 minutes max. But somehow we’ll spend hours scrolling skincare content, researching products, and watching routines… without actually washing our face before bed.

A simple, intentional routine done consistently will always outperform an expensive routine you only do occasionally.

Need recommendations? We’re here to help!

One of the biggest misconceptions in skincare is thinking one treatment is going to completely transform your skin.

Real results come from consistency, proper timing, and a treatment plan that’s built around your skin’s needs.

Facials and DiamondGlow help maintain skin health, hydration, and congestion control.

Microneedling works by stimulating collagen over time.

Chemical peels help improve tone, pigment, texture, and overall skin function.

Different treatments do different things, which is why timing and frequency matter.

The best results happen when treatments are done intentionally, not randomly.

One of the biggest misconceptions in skincare is expecting products to work instantly.

Most ingredients need time to regulate cell turnover, reduce inflammation, stimulate collagen, and correct underlying skin concerns. That process doesn’t happen overnight.

Retinoids, pigment correctors, acne treatments, barrier repair products—they all work differently and on different timelines.

This is also why constantly switching products, trend-hopping, or overdoing your routine usually creates more setbacks than progress.

Good skincare is less about finding one “magic” product and more about consistency, patience, and using the right products for your skin long enough to let them actually work.

Wedding skin prep is not something you want to leave until the last minute.

The best bridal results come from having a plan and giving your skin enough time to respond to treatments intentionally.

For injectables, we typically recommend:
• Botox at least 1 month before your wedding
• Filler about 4–6 weeks before your wedding

This allows everything to fully settle naturally and gives us time for any adjustments if needed.

Facials can be more maintenance-based and are great for keeping your skin healthy and glowing leading up to the big day. But if you’re dealing with concerns like acne, texture, pigmentation, or scarring, the earlier you start, the better your overall results will be.

And your at-home skincare matters just as much as your in-office treatments. Consistency is what ties everything together.

The biggest mistake we see? Waiting too long and expecting one treatment to do all the work.

The earlier you start, the more natural, healthy, and stress-free your wedding prep will feel. 🤍 Book a FREE consult to get started.
