🏃♀️ Marathon Runners Need a Village ❤️
Running a marathon may look like an individual sport, but no one gets to that finish line alone.
The IVs, supplements, massage, training partners, and all the incredible support on race day—it truly takes a village.
But the most important part of my village is my family. ❤️
Todd has definitely done his part over the years—driving us to the starting line at O-dark-hundred, supporting all the training, and being the person I know will be waiting at the finish line cheering me on.
And there may be a few happy tears this year knowing this could be one of my last full marathons. 🥹
Marathons challenge you physically, but maybe even more mentally. There are miles when your body says stop and your mind has to remind you why you started.
So as I head into another St. George Marathon, I’m feeling especially grateful for my village, my team, and my family. ❤️
