Truth is, I always wanted to be a teacher. I even started college thinking I’d teach elementary school but quickly learned it wasn’t for me.
I didn’t start teaching in a professional setting until I was 30 (the age I started really learning who I am), and it was different from what I pictured.
But teaching has always been and always will be a part of me. As much as I love to learn, I love to pass on to others 🫶

Just your reminder to stop at smell the flowers. We’ve got a lot on our plate as moms, so my wish for you today is this: don’t rush around so fast that you forget to enjoy the little moments with your kids. When they pause too long in wonder of something that is still new to them, when they show you a glimpse of their world, when they want to read one more book or snuggle one extra minute before bed. My babe hasn’t been sleeping well in weeks, and im noticing how important the real 1:1 focus on her for short increments are throughout the day. Just like us, they want to be seen. Giving my girly today all the love and attention I crave myself.

Every lit bit of love is felt with my whole heart!
I’m so grateful for the moms I’ve been able to connect with through my prenatal yoga class. But it’s still relatively new and I love any help I can get to spread the word!

Because while they won’t always always listen to you, they will always use you as a model.
It’s been important for me to always show my daughter what I’m capable of so she knows what she is capable of.
We do the hard stuff together. She witnesses me fail. And she witnesses me pick back up and try again.
And honestly I watch her do the same. I’m constantly amazed by her persistence in learning new things, and she inspires me to keep trying.
We’re a small family, but we are a mighty team.
