Happy Pride Month!

Pride Month is a time to celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of LGBTQIA+ individuals and communities. It is also an opportunity to recognize the importance of creating spaces where people feel safe, respected, and supported for who they are.

Everyone deserves access to compassionate care, meaningful connections, and a sense of belonging.

At CCMH, we are committed to fostering an inclusive community where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.

June is a month of awareness, reflection, and celebration.

Throughout June, we will recognize Pride Month, Men's Mental Health Month, National Immigrant Heritage Month, Juneteenth, and PTSD Awareness Day.

These observances highlight the importance of belonging, mental wellness, resilience, and the many experiences that shape our communities.

At CCMH, we believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate care, supportive relationships, and opportunities to thrive.

We invite you to join us throughout the month as we learn, reflect, and celebrate together.

✨ CCMH April Employee of the Month – Christopher ✨

Please join us in celebrating Christopher as our April Employee of the Month! His dedication, leadership, and commitment to supporting both clients and staff have made a lasting impact over the past 12 years. We are grateful to have him as part of the CCMH team. 💙

We asked a few questions to get to know him a little better:

1. Who and/or what is important to you in your life outside of CCMH (people in your life, a hobby you enjoy, etc.)?

My family is at the center of my world, especially my wife and our four girls. I also cherish my church family, the people I grow with and walk through life alongside.

Outside of work, I enjoy a variety of hobbies and interests. I spend time flying drones, training for a half marathon, playing musical instruments (I currently rotate between four of them), BBQing, and following sports whenever I get the chance.

2. How long have you worked for the agency, and what do you do in your current role here?

I’ve been with CCMH for 12 years. I currently serve as Program Supervisor for the I/DD program, where I help ensure smooth operations and high-quality support for the individuals we serve. I also conduct abuse investigations for the adult I/DD population.

3. What do you appreciate most about working for CCMH?

Early in my career, a former director told me that CCMH would take care of me if I stayed committed. After 12 years, I can say that has proven true. I’ve been given opportunities to grow professionally, enjoy excellent benefits, and maintain a healthy work-life balance while staying close to my family. Most importantly, throughout the years, I’ve consistently experienced genuine care and support from the people I work with.

4. What is one thing that would surprise people to know about you?

Over the last few months, I built a life-optimizing app that I use regularly to help stay organized and focused on my goals.

Thank you, Christopher, for your years of service, leadership, and dedication to the people we serve. Your commitment to excellence and support for others helps make CCMH a stronger organization every day. 👏

When a child is struggling, support should center around them and their family.

CCMH’s Wraparound Program partners with youth and families to build individualized plans for children who need extra support whether related to behavioral health, school‑based needs requiring formal supports, or other community services. Our approach is strength‑based, youth‑guided, and family‑driven, built through collaboration with the people who matter most.

The goal is to create real-life solutions that help youth succeed at home, in school, and in their community.

You do not have to figure this out alone. Support is here.

Meeting people where they are is a critical part of mental health care.

Team HOW connects individuals to care, reduces harm, and supports people as they move toward wellness. Through peer support, outreach, and community connection, the team works with individuals who may not yet be connected to services.

Support can include harm reduction education, connection to substance use and behavioral health treatment, resource navigation, and peer-led support from individuals with lived experience.

Every step toward support matters, and no one has to take that step alone.
