Today we pause.

Good Friday is the day we remember that Jesus willingly gave His life for us out of deep, unconditional love. 🤍

For children, this can feel like a heavy story…but it can also be shared simply:

That Jesus loves them so much,
He chose to give everything so they could be forgiven, known, and forever loved. As parents, this is a day to slow down, sit close, and gently remind your children:

🤍 You are loved
🤍 You are never alone
🤍 Jesus gave His life for you

We don’t rush past today because without the cross, there is no resurrection.

Right now, we’re seeing a lot of:
• Persistent coughs and congestion
• Seasonal allergies starting to flare
• Fevers that come and go with viral illnesses
• Parents trying to decide: “Do I need a visit or not?”

Here’s a simple guide:

👉 Likely viral 🦠 (okay to monitor): Mild cough, runny nose, low-grade fever, still drinking/playing

👉 Call or schedule a visit if you notice:
• Fever > 3 days 🌡️
• Trouble breathing or fast breathing 🫁
• Ear pain, poor sleep, or irritability 😭
• Decreased fluids or fewer wet diapers 💦
• “Something just doesn’t feel right” (trust this!) 👏🏻
