Dear Cats & Crystals KC family, and a warm welcome to all of our new customers! 💜✨

As our community continues to grow, I wanted to gently remind everyone of one of our store policies. To preserve the peaceful, healing atmosphere we’ve intentionally created, we do not allow children under the age of 8 in the store.

This was not a decision I ever wanted to make. As many of you know, I truly believe in creating spaces where people feel welcomed and loved. However, after experiencing multiple situations over the years, I realized I had to put this boundary in place to protect the sacred energy of our space and the experience we promise every person who walks through our doors.

Cats & Crystals KC isn’t just a crystal shop—it’s a sanctuary. Many of our guests come here to regulate their nervous systems, receive energy healing, meditation, breathwork, tarot readings, or simply enjoy a moment of peace away from the noise of everyday life. That peaceful environment is an important part of the healing experience.

We also carry many delicate, one-of-a-kind crystals, glass items, and other fragile treasures that can easily be damaged.

We kindly ask that everyone respect this boundary. If children under the age of 8 are brought into the store, we will unfortunately have to ask you to return another time. While these conversations are never easy, they are necessary to honor the intention and energy of this sacred space.

Please also make sure to check our craft nights and events, as due to the types of activities, tools used, and the nature of each event, the age limit may be different.

Thank you for helping us protect the loving, calm, and magical environment that so many people have come to cherish. Every boundary is created from a place of love, and healthy boundaries allow healing spaces to remain exactly that—places where people can reconnect with themselves, find peace, and leave feeling lighter than when they arrived.
