What a busy week we've had this week at our Day Program! Our participants visited several different places in the community, practiced life skills, learned about the legendary Dolly Parton, shopped, ate in restaurants, played Bingo, painted, and more!! Here at the The Arc of St. Martin, we value community integration and socialization. Let's see what the new month of September brings!

📣📣Today we celebrate Brie Capritto, who finished her last day at The Arc of St. Martin on Friday. For 11 incredible years, Brie poured her heart, leadership, and dedication into our mission, our staff, and the people we serve. We are so grateful for every moment she spent helping strengthen this organization. 📣📣

We are also so very excited for her new journey at "Discovering You" in Crowley. We know she will bring the same light and love to the people of Acadia Parish as she did here, and they are truly gaining a treasure.

Brie, you will be tremendously missed — but your impact will continue to shine here every single day. 💗

💎✨Last week, some of our participants attended the "Sparkle and Shine" event at the St. Martinville Library. They had such a fun time creating diamond art keychains. We love our local libraries and the interesting events that they provide for our community! 💎✨

BINGO! 🎉 Last week we celebrated National Bingo Day with lots of laughs, friendly competition, and great company!

A huge thank you to Dana, Brad, Glen, and Ms. Sheila for spending time with us and treating everyone to pizza and ice cream. We also want to thank Mrs. Marlene for the delicious cake as we celebrated our June birthdays! We truly appreciate your generosity and for helping make the day so special.

We’re Hiring: Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) Full Time (Mon–Fri, 8:00–3:00)
Join our team and support adults with developmental disabilities through person‑centered planning and active treatment.
Requirements: BA/BS in Human Services field + 1 year experience.
Responsibilities: Develop ISPs, complete admissions/discharges, write progress notes, coordinate care, support community activities, manage EVV/SIMS, attend required meetings, etc.

Day Program Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Help adults with developmental disabilities build skills, engage in the community, and thrive in a supportive day program environment.
Requirements:
• 21+ years old
• Valid Louisiana Driver’s License
• Chauffeur’s License within 3 months (required for full‑time with benefits.
