Today, we come to the end of an era as Jim Kidd, our CEO for 23 years, steps into retirement.
Jim has helped sculpt ABJ into what it is today, both professionally and personally. When Jim first stepped into his role, a time of paper charts and switch boards, his goal was simple: Make ABJ a place where guests and staff feel COMFORTABLE, CONFIDENT, and IMPORTANT. In his 23 years, he brought many technical improvements to the office (hello computers!!!), recruited numerous physicians, rebranded from St. Peters Bone & Joint to Advanced Bone & Joint, remodeled St. Peters 1.0 many times, brought O'Fallon 1.0 and 2.0 to life, brought Wentzville to life, and spent an incredible amount of time helping design our current St. Peters 2.0 building. His contributions are infinite but above all, the way he encouraged his team to always treat each other with respect and to remember why we do what we do is what has made the greatest impact on all of us. Jim has been a guiding light to so many over the years and his presence with our company will be truly missed.
With this, we say THANK YOU...thank you for your positivity, your smile, your Halloween costumes, your staff bbq's, and your devotion to Advanced Bone & Joint. We wish you the best in your next chapter.
