Got something I've been wanting people to see. Meet the Graffiti Tree Frog. 🐸

If you've spent any time in a canopy, you get it. Tree frogs live up there. They climb, they hang on, and they don't care who's watching from the ground. That's the energy I want to bring to the work and the gear.

The frog's going to start showing up on some climbing gear down the road, like helmets, gaiters and throw bags. Nothing's final yet, and I want you along for the ride while it comes together.

🌳 Oak Pruning Season Is Officially Open in Missouri 🌳
Today is the first day it’s considered safe to prune oak trees across Missouri.
If you’ve been holding off on that pruning work, you’re not alone—a lot of homeowners have been waiting for this window. Step outside and you’ll feel the change. The cooler temperatures are exactly what we’ve been watching for.
Here’s why the timing matters: Oak wilt is a serious fungal disease that can kill red oaks in a matter of weeks. It’s spread by sap-feeding beetles that are attracted to fresh pruning wounds. Those beetles are far less active once the weather cools, which is why the safe window opens now and runs through the winter dormant season.
Pruning at the right time protects your trees. Pruning at the wrong time (mid-March through mid-summer) puts them at real risk.
If you’ve got oaks that need structural pruning, clearance work, deadwood removal, or storm cleanup, now is the time to get it on the schedule. Trees by Drees is ready.
