Origins Healing Arts About Kel:

Kel has been both a student and practitioner of yoga and the healing arts for nearly a decade.

OHA is a wellness consultancy offering a variety of healing services to the Tampa Bay Area community including:

~ Events She found a deep love for slowing down and delving inward as a means to understand herself and the world around her with more depth and clarity. She is a certified Yoga

Teacher (RYT 400) and Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP). She's also been trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Sound Healing & Reiki. Her more formal education includes a Master’s Degree in Intercultural Service, Leadership & Management with a Bachelor’s in Mass Communications. Helping clients solve internal issues through holistic lifestyle practices and counsel is something that she finds very rewarding. If you are seeking assistance with decor or organizing this is another realm where she has natural gifts. Both public and private sessions are available for all of her services listed below.

Fall is upon us and winter inching closer each day; what better way to embrace the shifting seasons than to tune into some of our own internal shifts? This potent new moon in Scorpio and all it carries has stirred the cauldron as well, allowing us to take a look at exactly where these shifts need to take place.

'Shift' or 'change' is an inevitable and necessary part of life. Some of us like more regular change than others. Typically, I find myself seeking it often... this keeps me stimulated and inspired. Remaining grounded when things around me are constantly moving can be a challenge, but here are a few ways I stay centered when it seems like a whirlwind might turn my life upside down:

Walk barefoot outside... ideally on grass, dirt or along the ocean in the sand.

Meditate.

Yoga.

Eat root veggies.

Take deep breaths.

I like to equalize the duration of my inhale and exhale - mine is usually around 5 seconds, but your count may be more or less, depending on what is comfortable for you. These are just a few tools I have incorporated over the years that, when practiced consistently, facilitate ease when coping with the day to day and larger shifts in life.

These are some of my constants, because I know my vata nature is to be all over the place. I have integrated regular practices that help keep me calm and grounded so when the world feels overstimulating I can usually keep a clear head and deal with what life hands me, as I know the universe will never deliver more than I'm capable of.

What has been triggering you lately? Have there been any recurring dilemmas you've been struggling with taking initiative on? Ask yourself what is working and what isn't and have the gumption to step up to the plate and do something about what may not be.

I just recently decided to step outside of my comfort zone to make some of my offerings more public, starting with yoga, reiki & holistic health counseling. I will be teaching today and most Thursdays at 6:30 @ Journey Into Fitness ; another class coming soon in December. More announcements and offerings underway. We are so excited to welcome Kelly to our team this October! ✨
Kelly holds a Master’s degree in Intercultural Service, Leadership & Management and is a RYT-400 certified yoga teacher. With extensive training as a Holistic Health Practitioner, Life Coach, Reiki & Sound Healing Practitioner, Kelly brings a truly integrative approach to wellness.

Her passion lies in helping individuals nurture their inner worlds, create balance, and align body, mind, and spirit. 🌸 Through yoga, energy work, sound healing, and mindfulness practices, Kelly empowers students to discover their authentic selves while cultivating resilience, harmony, and transformation.
