Memorial Day Weekend can bring a mix of emotions — celebration, remembrance, and sometimes pressure to “go along” with the crowd.

If you’re in recovery, here’s your reminder: your sobriety is worth protecting.

A few grounding tips for the weekend:
• Bring your own drinks so you always have something in hand
• Step outside for air when you feel overwhelmed
• Have a “safe person” you can text or call
• Leave early if you need to — your peace matters
• Remember: “No, thank you” is a complete sentence

As we honor those who gave their lives in service, may you also honor the life you’re building — one day, one choice, one brave boundary at a time.
