Brookdale Newberg and Willamette Vital Health Hospice partnered this month to serve and educate Brookdale residents with health screenings and information regarding WVH services. WVH staff and volunteers provided education, support and treats for residents while Health and Wellness Director Dani Haselton (right) provided her monthly resident greetings and screenings in the activity center. Thank you to Hannah, Account Development Liaison and Lisa, Nurse Corporate Learning Leader, who helped Tuesday and Wednesday and to Eileen (left), a WVH volunteer of 23 years for building bridges of friendship and kindness.

Sweet Sadie is looking for her furever home (or a long-term foster home in the Salem area).

Sadie’s owner passed away while receiving hospice care, and she is now looking for a welcoming and understanding place to call home. Sadie is a 6-year-old German Shepherd mix who is spayed and can be shy, especially around men. She has had some experience playing with another dog but hasn’t had much other social experience.

For more info please email [email protected] or call 503-588-3600 and ask for Jeanne!
