Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Glenn’s Pharmacies. The ideal candidate will assist our licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries.
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, including ordering and stocking.
• Provide customer service, including answering questions about medications and over-the-counter products.
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Operate pharmacy equipment, including cash registers and automated dispensing systems.
Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma required.
• Valid Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
