As trees bloom and grasses grow, seasonal allergies often increase due to higher pollen levels in the air. Symptoms can include sneezing, nasal congestion, itchy or watery eyes, sinus pressure, and fatigue, all of which can make it harder to enjoy the warmer months.

A few supportive strategies include:
• Showering and changing clothes after being outdoors to remove pollen
• Keeping windows closed on high-pollen days
• Using saline nasal rinses to clear irritants
• Staying well hydrated to support healthy mucus membranes
• Supporting immune balance through nutrition and rest

Acupuncture can be used to help reduce the body’s response to environmental triggers and support clearer breathing and sinus comfort over time. Many patients also find it helpful for reducing the severity and frequency of seasonal flare-ups when used consistently during allergy season.

According to the European Journal of Medical Research (2022), acupuncture improved Total Nasal Symptom Score (TNSS) and quality of life scores. With evidence suggesting that it may be more effective than sham acupuncture in reducing symptoms.

More activity isn’t always better. Your body needs both movement and recovery. Overtraining or constant busyness can lead to fatigue, injury, and burnout.

Incorporate rest days, stretching, and restorative practices into your routine. Acupuncture can support recovery by reducing muscle tension and promoting relaxation.

Regular acupuncture sessions can help identify imbalances early, support immune function, and reduce the likelihood of chronic issues developing. Think of it as maintenance for your body, not just treatment when something goes wrong.

🧧 Happy Lunar New Year! Welcoming the Year of the Horse 🐎🌙

As we celebrate Lunar New Year, we welcome the vibrant energy of the Year of the Horse. A symbol of strength, vitality, freedom, and forward momentum. The Horse represents movement, passion, determination, and a spirited approach to life. It’s a year that encourages us to step confidently toward our goals while staying balanced and grounded in our health.

In Chinese medicine, the Horse’s dynamic energy reminds us of the importance of caring for the Heart and maintaining harmony between activity and rest. While this year may inspire action, growth, and bold decisions, true vitality comes from sustainable energy, not burnout.

✨ Health intentions for the Year of the Horse:
• Prioritize steady energy through balanced meals and adequate rest
• Support heart health with stress management and joyful movement
• Stay flexible... physically and emotionally!
• Create momentum without overextending yourself

Acupuncture and Chinese medicine focus on maintaining smooth circulation of Qi (vital energy), especially during times of transition. The beginning of a lunar year is a powerful opportunity to reset, reflect, and realign your health goals with the season ahead.

May this Year of the Horse bring you strength, resilience, enthusiasm, and vibrant health. Wishing you and your family a year filled with balance, prosperity, and well-being!

Gōng xǐ fā cái 恭喜发财!🧧✨

Conditions like osteoarthritis, back pain, neck pain, or repetitive strain injuries may persist even with rest alone.

Acupuncture supports pain management by promoting circulation, reducing pain, relaxing tight muscles, and encouraging the body’s natural healing processes. Many patients find that consistent care not only reduces pain but also improves mobility and quality of life over time.

As the seasons change, so do our bodies’ needs. Shifts in daylight, temperature, and activity levels can influence energy, mood, immunity, and sleep patterns. Supporting your health seasonally can help you stay resilient and balanced year-round.

Acupuncture is often used to support immune health, manage seasonal stress, and help the body adapt more smoothly to environmental changes. Taking a proactive approach can make a meaningful difference in how you feel throughout the year!
