My first sign wasn't a hot flash... in fact I still haven't had one. It was the feeling that I " wasn't there anymore". Like I didn't have access to myself. Such a weird feeling but I remember telling my dr that I felt like there was a veil between who I was and what I had access to.

When I say the week that I started HRT, that changed.. I'm not kidding! It was like that scene from Hook where he grabs Peter's face and says " oh there you are Peter". I was back!

How I wish I would have known what to look for. I spent a whole year feeling like garbage when I didn't need to!
