Everything about this stage of life makes me want to scream.

The mood swings. The hot flashes. The exhaustion. The brain fog. The random irritation. The fact that I can be perfectly happy one minute and ready to move to a deserted island the next.

And honestly....

Sometimes I don’t want advice.
I don’t want to talk about it.
I don’t want to explain why I’m irritated.

I just want everyone to leave me alone, give me my own space, turn the lights down, keep the noise to a minimum, and let me exist in peace for approximately 37 minutes.

Is that really too much to ask?

Perimenopause isn’t just changing your body. It can feel like you’re constantly trying to recognize yourself while your hormones are running the show.

So if you’ve been craving solitude lately…

Maybe you’re not antisocial.

Maybe you’re just perimenopausal and DONE.
