I had the immense good fortune to be able to watch Allowed to birth twice this weekend! At the Milwaukee premiere it was an evening of celebration, camaraderie, tears and so much laughter! And I got to fan girl over some of my birthy heroes 😍 When I saw it a second time in Denver, I had the space to catch all the details of this amazing film. I hope to watch it again someday soon!

TWENTY years since my first birth. 453 births and even more friends made along the way.

I have so many amazing memories I could fill a book! (But I won’t) Just know I cherish each birth, baby, family, and all my sister midwives. I’m so grateful to have this joyful, humbling, awe-inspiring path in life ❤️
