I’ll say it until I’m blue in the face. Everything starts in the gut.

Bloating after every meal. Energy that crashes at 2pm. Skin that won’t clear no matter what you put on it. Anxiety you can’t explain. Weight that won’t move despite doing everything “right.”

We treat these like five separate problems. Often they’re one problem showing up in five places.

Your gut is where you absorb nutrients, make most of your serotonin, and house about 70% of your immune system. When that system is inflamed or out of balance, your whole body feels it and no supplement, cleanse, or elimination diet fixes what you haven’t identified yet.

That’s why I test instead of guess. Testing tells us whether we’re dealing with an infection, inflammation, poor digestion, or something else entirely so you stop cycling through protocols that were never meant for your problem. Why I don’t just hand out testosterone for ED 🫀

When men come to me about erectile dysfunction, they often expect one answer: testosterone. But here’s what most don’t know...ED in older men is usually a vascular issue, not a hormone issue.

The blood vessels involved in an er****on are small, and they often show problems before your heart does. That means ED can be one of the earliest warning signs of cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, or diabetes.

So when you come to me, I look at your heart first. Because giving testosterone to a man whose real issue is his blood vessels doesn’t fix the problem. It masks something that could be far more serious.

Low testosterone tends to affect desire. Mechanical ED with normal desire points somewhere else entirely. Knowing the difference is the whole game.

This is what real care looks like: not the quick fix, but the right workup. Your ED might be your body trying to tell you something so let’s listen to it. 💙

I honestly wish you all could be a fly on the wall during some of the conversations I'm having with my patients but of course that's illegal 😅

All I'm saying is I'm enjoying the conversations around hormones and I'm getting women and men to feel better in their own skin. My work is very rewarding and I'm so excited to help even more women and men feel their best 💕. Some facts about me. I Love gardening and farming and find that it calms me more than anything I've known. In 2020 when the world was shut down I worked more than I ever had in the hospital as an "essential worker. We never got a break and I was pregnant at the time. I ended up losing the baby in my second trimester and was devastated. The garden is where God met me and I felt at peace and knew I'd become a mother eventually. I have two beautiful boys who enjoy gardening with me and it's just a reminder that some things really do come full circle. I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day and I'm looking forward to helping other women become mothers as well by regulating their nervous systems and creating a healthy womb. 💕🌱
