As a combat veteran and retired police officer, I know what it’s like to put my life in another person’s hands. I’ve trusted fellow Marines, soldiers, deputies, and first responders in situations where the stakes couldn’t have been higher.
What I had never experienced in my 46 years on this earth was placing my future and my family’s future in the hands of others.
Last night, the voters of Wicomico County made their decision, and while the outcome was not what we hoped for, I respect the process and congratulate Sheriff Mike Lewis on his victory.
I want to sincerely thank every person who supported me throughout this campaign. To those who volunteered, displayed signs, knocked on doors, made phone calls, donated, shared posts, attended events, and encouraged others to get involved—thank you. Your support meant more to me and my family than I can ever express.
This campaign was never just about winning an election. It was about offering a vision for the future, having important conversations about public safety, and giving voters a choice.
Because of you, that conversation happened across every corner of our county.
To my wife, family, friends, and supporters: thank you for your sacrifices, your patience, and your unwavering belief in me. I could not have made this journey without you.
While this chapter has come to an end, my commitment to serving our community has not. Wicomico County is my home, and I will continue to support the people who make it such a special place.
Thank you for the trust you placed in me, the friendships formed along the way, and the opportunity to earn your support.
I am incredibly grateful.
More Service. Less Politics.
