You might be blaming your stomach when the real problem is on your plate.

You eat a meal.

A few hours later, something feels off.

Maybe you’re bloated.
Your stomach hurts.
Your skin is itchy.
You feel congested.

Or you notice the same symptoms happening again and again.

So you start wondering…

“Could I be allergic to something I’m eating?”

Instead of guessing, testing may help give you answers.

At ReMedical, we offer food allergy testing using a skin prick test on the back.

During the test, small amounts of potential food allergens are placed on the skin.

Then we watch to see how your skin reacts.

It’s a simple way to help identify potential IgE-mediated food allergies and give you more information about what may be triggering your symptoms.

Common foods tested may include things like:

Milk.
Eggs.
Peanuts.
Tree nuts.
Wheat.
Soy.
Fish.
Shellfish.

And other potential allergens based on your symptoms and history.

One important thing to remember?

Not every reaction to food is a food allergy.

Food allergies and food intolerances are different, which is why trying to diagnose yourself by eliminating food after food can get confusing fast.

If you consistently notice symptoms after eating, start keeping track.

Write down what you ate.
When you ate it.
What symptoms appeared.
And how quickly they started.

Then bring that information with you when you discuss food allergy testing.

You don’t have to keep playing detective with every meal.
