I have a very specific response to feeling overwhelmed: I make another list. šŸ˜‚

Then I reorganize the list, start three things at once and wonder why I still feel scattered.

Between work, school and all the ideas constantly running through my head, I can slip into this pattern pretty quickly. In Ayurveda, that fast, restless, all-over-the-place energy is associated with Vata. And sometimes my normal response—more planning, more pressure, more productivity—just makes it louder.

What actually helps is usually much simpler: fewer inputs, one task at a time, a real meal, a walk outside and a stopping point at the end of the day.

I’m still ambitious. I just don’t want my brain to feel like it’s in a group chat with 47 people while I’m trying to build the life I want.

Work, school, building businesses, keeping up with life… my brain has had approximately 47 tabs open lately.

Today I went hiking. Not to accomplish anything or turn it into another ā€œhealthy habitā€ to perfect. I just needed to get outside, move, and let my mind settle.

And it worked. The problems didn’t magically disappear, but they stopped feeling like they were all yelling at me at once.

Sometimes clarity doesn’t come from pushing harder or making another list. Sometimes you need to leave the list at home and go outside for a while.

A healthy meal has to do more than look good on paper.

For a busy woman, it needs to be grounding enough to support your energy, satisfying enough to keep you from grazing all afternoon, and easy enough to actually repeat.

That’s the part I’m focusing on this week.

Warm meals. Fresh ingredients. Protein. Fiber. Healthy fats. Herbs. Spices. Flavor. Real food that works for a real schedule.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how easy it is to get so busy building your life, your business, your goals, your routines, all of it, that you slowly stop taking care of the person who has to hold it all.

That has definitely been me lately. I was eating out way too much, grabbing whatever was easiest, skipping real meals, drinking coffee instead of actually feeding myself, and then wondering why I felt off. My energy was weird, my body felt heavier, my mood felt less steady, and I just didn’t feel as clear.

So I set a really simple goal for myself: start making real meals again.

Nothing extreme. Nothing complicated. Just meals that feel nourishing, grounding, and easy enough to actually make when life is busy. I’ve been making Mediterranean-inspired meals with an Ayurvedic approach, and honestly, they’ve been so good. Fresh ingredients, warm meals, healthy fats, protein, herbs, color, and food that actually makes me feel cared for.

And I can feel the difference already.

This has been such a good reminder that taking care of yourself does not always have to mean some massive life overhaul. Sometimes it starts with making one real meal instead of treating yourself like the last thing on the list.

Especially as women, moms, business owners, and people

This is something I think a lot of women business owners feel, but do not always say out loud.

You want the growth.

You want the clients.
You want the visibility.
You want the money.
You want the next level.

But then the business starts asking you to be seen more, decide faster, hold more pressure, follow through longer, or stop changing the plan every two weeks…

and suddenly you are tired.

Suddenly you need a new idea.

Suddenly you want to rebrand.

Suddenly you are ā€œnot ready.ā€

Suddenly the thing you said you wanted feels heavy.

Ayurveda gives us a way to look at this without turning it into shame.

Because sometimes this is not a discipline problem.

Sometimes it is Vata overload.
Too much movement. Too many ideas. Too little grounding.

Sometimes it is Pitta pressure.
Too much force. Too much urgency. Too much proving.

Sometimes it is Kapha resistance.
Too much comfort. Too much avoidance. Too little movement.

The pattern matters.

Because if you do not understand the state you are building from, you will keep calling it strategy when it is actually capacity.

The way you lead your business is not separate from the way your system operates.

Some women lead from movement and ideas.
Some lead from fire and focus.
Some lead from steadiness and trust.

None of these are wrong.

But when your pattern is out of balance, it can start showing up in the business.

Vata can become scattered and inconsistent.

Pitta can become intense, impatient, and overextended.

Kapha can become comfortable, avoidant, and hidden.

Ayurveda gives us a way to look underneath the behavior and ask:

What pattern am I leading from?

Because the goal is not to become someone else.

The goal is to understand how you are built, what throws you off, and what helps you lead from your strongest state.

Not every business owner needs the same kind of support.

Some women need grounding because their mind is moving faster than their body can keep up.

Some women need cooling because they are building everything from pressure, urgency, and control.

Some women need momentum because they know what they want, but they keep avoiding the next move.

This is why Ayurveda makes so much sense for business owners.

It does not just ask what you are doing.

It asks what pattern you are operating from.

Because the way you create, lead, sell, decide, rest, avoid, overwork, and show up is connected to the system underneath it all.

Your energy matters.
Your rhythm matters.
Your body matters.

And the next level of your business may not require a different version of you.

07/07/2026

Sometimes the problem is not the offer.

It is not the content plan.
It is not the funnel.
It is not that you need to work harder.

Sometimes the business feels chaotic because the woman leading it is running on stress, urgency, overstimulation, and survival energy.

Ayurveda has always taught that your mind, body, energy, digestion, sleep, emotions, and daily rhythm are all connected.

So when your system is depleted or dysregulated, it does not just affect your health.

It affects how you lead.
How you make decisions.
How you show up.
How you sell.
How you create.
How you handle pressure.

Your capacity is part of your business strategy.

And sometimes the next level is not about doing more.

It is about becoming steady enough to hold more.

You’ve been meaning to build this workshop for months.
It’s been sitting in your head. Maybe half-started in a Google Doc. Maybe just a sticky note on your desk that you keep moving but never actually doing.

And every week it doesn’t exist is another week your clients aren’t getting deeper in, staying longer, and telling their friends about you.
Here’s the truth: you don’t have a time problem. You have a ā€œdoing everything yourselfā€ problem.
So I built it for you. A done-for-you wellness workshop, fully mapped, ready to run, rooted in real Ayurvedic wisdom and the retention strategy that actually keeps people coming back.

You just show up and deliver it.
No more half-finished docs. No more ā€œI’ll get to it next quarter.ā€ It’s done. It’s yours. You walk in and teach.

Read that again: your 10-pack is a goodbye gift. šŸŽ
I know that sounds harsh. But I’ve watched too many studio owners pour their soul into class quality, into marketing, into reels, while their entire revenue model is quietly training clients to walk away.

Class packs feel safe. They’re familiar. Everyone in the industry sells them. But ā€œeveryone does itā€ is the worst business strategy I’ve ever heard.
Here’s the truth: a class pack is a finite container. The second a client buys one, her brain starts counting down. She’s not committing to a practice, she’s managing inventory.

Memberships? Memberships build identity. ā€œI’m a member here.ā€ ā€œThis is my studio.ā€ ā€œThese are my people.ā€

That’s not a transaction. That’s a transformation.

If you’re tired of the revolving door, comment ENERRA below and I’ll send you the free Studio Retention Quiz. Let’s stop the leak.
