To say that I am grateful would be ridiculous . To say that our colleagues in this cohort are brilliant would be insane. To say that this experience was incredible would simply be silly. The only word I can even think would do justice to any of this would be bananas. 🍌 I simply have no other word. I leave for home today feeling inspired, thrilled, connected, seen, motivated and like I have been absolutely delivered into the perfectly suited spot. Nosis is my dream brought to life. To my friend, co-founder and inspiration, Duffy Fallon, I will be forever grateful. To all of the most authentic and generous cohort, leaders, speakers, and mentors at One Mind, I know with complete clarity I will be forever tethered to you. Trying to figure out how to do Father’s Day without you, Will and Collin. Thank you to all the men and women not home with their dads today, and all of the dads not home because you all are serving our country. Thank you to all these young officers in training. 🇺🇸 We could not be more proud of you, though we’re missing you so much. We love you both like crazy and are counting the days until you’re back with us. And thank you Papa dlG , and to all the father’s , for all you do. We love you❤️ Go Navy! ⚓️ 🇺🇸

We have a beautiful space available in our newly remodeled, easily accessible downtown office space! I work with two incredible clinical therapists and we would love a new office mate! Our space is open to any provider of care to humans! Acupuncture, therapy, prescriber, nutritionist! I’m open to anything! I am beyond excited to announce the official launch of my dream project, Nosis Health! Together with my founding partner and CEO, Duffy Fallon and our tiny but fierce team of founding therapists Stephanie Epstein and Daniel Henderson and our coaches Nell Hurley and Linnea Offerman we are ready to bring health optimization right into the heart of substance use disorder treatment and recovery!!! At its core, Nosis is about transforming the way people experience recovery—treating the whole person, not just the addiction. We’ve built a care model that integrates medicine, nutrition, movement, sleep, and human connection to help people not just stay sober but feel well and live fully. We are at long last bringing health optimization into the recovery process, and it is so long overdue.

Gratitude and Negative Thoughts

I woke up to pouring rain 🌧️ and snow on the red rocks outside my hotel in Zion. I started obsessing about the weather. Anxious about what my kids would do all day, would they be bored, unhappy, make me miserable, my husband frustrated, blah blah blah.

Spiraling initiated. 😵‍💫

So, when the rain stopped I put on my running shoes and headed up to the park. I walked for 60 minutes on the Pa’rus trail and saw maybe 8 people. All I could hear was the Virgin River 🏞️rushing next to me, and the voices of a thousand birds. 🐦 And all I could see was the green of foliage 🌳 and the red of the rocks. If the weather was any different all I would have done was dodge E-Bikes and I wouldn’t have heard any birds for all the voices.

I did not even need to try to feel grateful. And my anxiety was gone.

I don’t need to provide you with an article about a trial looking at how gratitude reduces negative feelings like anxiety, stress, or sadness. I just need to tell you that it is very hard to spiral into the negative when you focus on beauty, or love, ❤️ or opportunity. Be right there, in the moment, feeling gratitude. It is like magic.
