And last but not least, here are Bryton’s remaining highlights for the year

Snake Half-Sleeve: This snake was so fun to do. In part because it looks cool, but also because I got to hand-draw about 3/4s of it on her arm before we tattooed it.

Flower Circles: I was so happy I got to do these. I was so excited to get the message that my client wanted to get all three of them. I loved doing the color and adding the harsh black behind it makes it pop even more.

Gem Flowers: My first time tattooing a gem or crystal of some kind, and I think they turned out great. I love that I got to add them into some flowers.

Cranes: Designing this was really fun, and I also really enjoyed all the shading I got to do.

Sleeve of Favorites: This was a really fun project to work on. There’s wasn’t much of a plan going into it other than just a fun collage of all of her favorite things. Learning the backstory to why each one deserved a spot on her arm was really fun and exciting.

Sleep Token Moth: Another fun design that I had a good time coloring. Even though there aren’t a ton of different colors, I think the whole thing turned out awesome.

Here is the second half of Milo’s highlights for the year

- Demon Babe Chest Piece: inspired by folklore from my Filipino heritage, also I think the placement is sick

- Mermaid: love cryptids and mythological creatures and I think this design was so cute

- DnD Dice: DnD is a huge part of my life and I got to do this piece on one of my best friends and fellow DnD party member

- Death’s-Head Hawkmoth: really dig the design and placement

- Floral Calf: one of my biggest pieces and my client was down with me adding some of my own style into it

- Unicorn: I’m a big fantasy fan and am really drawn to gay- I mean, unicorn iconography, especially the more medieval goat-like interpretations

Here is JJ’s second set of memorable tattoos for 2025

“Peen-ana” - are you happy to see me or is that just a peenana on your leg?

Ruth Asawa - In July we found ourselves walking around the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco and I completely became obsessed with the wire sculptures of Ruth Asawa. This tattoo is my attempt to do a freehand piece inspired by our day experience her amazing work. Look her up, and then call me so we can talk about doing some more abstract tattoos.

Owl - people that get tattoos from my flash sets are the type of people that won the lottery and get to sit in the front rows of concerts. If you’re not that kind of person, get a flash tattoo from me and all of your dreams will come true. This was from my flash set in case you couldn’t figure that out.

Hobbit house - I really tattoo a lot of Lord of the Rings inspired tattoo. This one was pretty cool. I even found out someone in the area built a hobbit house in their backyard.

Candle - I’ve been painting as long as I can remember. Sometimes I get lost in a tattoo and find myself painting the image more than tattooing it.

Dog - I’ve always said that I owe my tattoo career to dog paws, and 15 years later, I still love being a part of helping people take their pets with them wherever they go.

Arm of confidence - The best part of tattooing is getting to be apart of someone’s journey to discover the skin they are comfortable in wearing. I love seeing her around town and the confidence that radiates out of her. She has been through some big changes, and I got to be a tiny part of it. That’s pretty cool.

Pieta - when I was a kid, at the Westroads Mall in Omaha, Nebraska, fora brief time they had a cast of the Pieta on display. Why it was there, I have no idea, but I remember standing in line for quite a while to see it. As a kid I actually thought I had touched a Michelangelo statue.i had not. But I did touch a cast of a Michelangelo statue and I guess that means something. Now I can say it was more meaningful to tattoo a rendition of it.

As promised, here are Sage’s second set of memorable tattoos for 2025:

(Robot wasp)- this was maybe one of the hardest custom requests I’ve gotten. He wanted a mechanical schematic of a parasitic wasp and I don’t know anything about machines or robots so I was pretty lost. The whole thing really came together once I added the circuit board stuff to the wings and I’m really stoked with how it came out.

(Fig and Peach) - I think fruit tattoos in this kind of illustration style look so good and you an almost never go wrong. Just
(Dali clock)- this tattoo was fun because it’s such an iconic image
And I really tried hard to get it as close to the painting as I could.
(Fig and peach)- I think fruit tattoos in this kind of illustration style look so good and you can almost never go wrong just pick a fruit or vegetable and bam you have a cool tattoo. These ones in particular I was really happy with.

(Snake)- Another very Utah specific tattoo, but I loved this one because snakes are one of my favorite animals. I regularly catch snakes while hiking or camping (not rattle snakes). This tattoo was challenging to draw because of all the little scales. I probably redrew them like 5-6 times.

(Skeleton)- I love doing western/ desert themed tattoos. Being born and raised in Utah (and also being named after a desert plant) I’ve always felt really connected to the outdoors and anything involving camping, hiking, or rock climbing. I also particularly liked this tattoo because of the style of linework and how they are intentionally inconsistent.
