Homemade salad dressings are surprisingly simple to prepare and offer bold flavor without preservatives, flavor enhancers, or inflammatory seed oils common in store-bought versions. This spicy ranch dip is versatile, doubling as a delicious marinade for grilled chicken. Bon Appetit!

This recipe has been adapted from The Well Plated Cookbook by Erin Clarke.

ZESTY RANCH DRESSING

1 c. Greek yogurt (full-fat or non-fat)
2 T. extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil
2 T. milk, plus additional to reach your desired consistency
1 T. lemon juice
3/4 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. onion powder
1/2 t. chili powder
1/2 t. dried dill w**d
1/4 t. salt
1/4 t. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 t. cayenne pepper, or to taste

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk until smooth. Store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to a week.
