One of the BIGGEST mistakes in Microneedling is thinking every client should be treated at the same depth... because they absolutely shouldn’t.

Controlled depth is everything. Every client’s skin is different skin thickness, sensitivity, concerns, barrier health, acne scarring, pigmentation, age, and even the area being treated all determine the depth we use.

Microneedling is not a “one depth fits all” treatment. Using the correct depth safely stimulates collagen and targets concerns effectively without causing unnecessary trauma to the skin. As you progress through your treatment journey and the skin becomes healthier and more resilient, depths can gradually be increased over sessions where appropriate to achieve deeper correction and better long-term results. This is why proper training and skin knowledge matter. Results come from customised treatments not copying the same protocol on every client.
