Today is the last day my shelf will be at South Concho Food Co!

I would love to make tallow balms available again one day, but I’ve decided the best thing I can do right now is take a step back for a bit to enjoy more time with my babies at home.

I truly appreciate everyone who has stuck with me over the last year and look forward to picking back up again one day! 🤍

Hiiiii It’s been a minute since I’ve been on this page. Spring is always so busy and it doesn’t help having 3 kids whose birthdays are back to back to back Feb-April 😆

I haven’t done a whole lot with tallow lately but I did want to say I dropped some solid balms off at South Concho Food Co. a few weeks ago! I was experimenting with it and honestly, I love it so much!

What I like is that you get more tallow in a jar since there’s no air whipped into it. Also, with warm weather coming very soon, it’s totally fine if you forget it in the car and it melts because all you have to do is pop it in the fridge for a bit and it’s good as new! (Cooling fast prevents grainy texture)

I’ve been using this on my kids faces morning and night since I made it and have barely made a dent in it so I feel like it will last so much longer than the whipped stuff.

The jars I dropped off have tallow infused with cinnamon sticks and vanilla beans then a little bit of jojoba and grapeseed oil, so very simple but smells amazing and feels great!

I discounted them some because when I cooled them, I did it too fast which caused the tallow to harden quickly and have a little bit of separation. Some of the oil sat on top so I wiped the little beads away but it’s still great! It’s not super hard, and very easy to get out of the container so if you’re wanting some, stop by and try it out 🤗🤍

Alright friends. I had someone reach out saying:

“I use your beef tallow moisturizer and I love it, however the old recipe had a much better smell than this new whipped one. I don't think I'll be buying it again if the smell stays like this.”

I don’t want to make something if people don’t like it. So I think I’ll be going back to making it with just the green tea leaves.

I’d love to hear feedback from others as well! So feel free to comment or message me! I take this stuff seriously (but try not to take it to heart 😆) and want to do better where I can.

The past week I’ve been in a high with my personal life but a low with my business stuff 😅 I go through times where I’m so busy with my kids, baking, cooking, cleaning, working out, being social, (now throwing in t-ball for my boys), etc that I somewhat neglect this part of my life for a little bit.

✨I haven’t made anything new since I dropped off the gift sets but do plan to get some tallow jars made at some point this week. My website is up and going (thanks to the amazing Baylie Mills) but I haven’t made enough product to get that stocked up to where I can post and promote it. I hope I’ll be able to get that done in the next week or two.

Anyway, I just wanted to post to let yall know I appreciate everyone who has been with me so far!
