Two antidepressants in, and still depressed.

That experience has a clinical name, treatment-resistant depression, and naming it matters, because people who reach that point usually conclude they're the problem.

They're not. They're at a different step.

Most ADHD 'tests' are a questionnaire.

A checklist captures what someone noticed. It doesn't measure attention, and it can't tell ADHD apart from anxiety, poor sleep, trauma, or depression, all of which look almost identical from the outside.
