Calaveras opened with only three artists and now have a staff of seven with both male and female artists with more than 65 years of combined experience in the art of tattooing. Our goal is to provide our locals and tourists with knowledgeable friendly services that they can count on. We provide custom work and are willing to collaborate with our clients to provide them with top-of-the-line artwor

k, while striving to ensure a safe and sterile environment that will keep our friendships fresh for years to come. We are located in the historical Art District of Southtown near downtown, a block away from Hemisphere and within walking distance from the River Walk and River Center Mall. We are open seven days a week from 1pm to 9pm (though on Sundays we close our doors at 5pm). We'd love to work with you to design your next piece of art.

I know every shop in San Antonio is hiring right now. We are looking for artists with a passion for tattooing and want yo be a part of an established shop. We have been in business since 2005 and have been in San Antonio’s tattoo community since 1993. We are looking for individuals that can bring in a positive attitude and experience in working in a walk in tattoo shop. We prefer full time artist but are open to working with you on structuring a schedule around your families needs.
