Feminine Wisdom | Cacao | Wellness
September 17, 2026 in San Antonio, TX

Cacao has a long relationship with nourishment, beauty, ceremony, pleasure, and connection.

In our local gathering, we’ll explore the ways cacao can invite us into a deeper relationship with our bodies—from the inside out.

We’ll explore nourishment, the womb and our cycles, the skin, beauty, sensuality, and the ways cacao has been used to support wellbeing and connection—celebrating the many seasons of womanhood, from maiden to elder, and the wisdom, beauty, and transformation each season carries.

And perhaps, we’ll ask ourselves:
What happens when we stop asking our bodies to simply perform—and begin to listen to, nourish, and celebrate them?

This September, for the Women of Cacao Summit 2026 women across the world will gather in homes, studios, cacao spaces, and sacred circles—each bringing their own prayers, experiences, stories, and hearts to a living thread that has brought women together for generations: cacao.

I’m honored that Goddess Heart will be one of the official host locations in San Antonio, Texas, joining the Women of Cacao Summit 2026 in this global day of cacao and sisterhood. There is something timeless about the relationship many women have cultivated with cacao. She nourishes, softens, reminds, and gently invites us home to ourselves.

On this day, our circle will become part of a worldwide tapestry of women gathering in presence, learning, healing, and connection.

The Women of Cacao Summit will also offer online workshops, inspiring talks, conversations, and educational experiences

The Way of Sisterhood

The old stories are falling away.
We step into the uncomfortable,
the places where no one gets to hide
behind a version of us
they heard from someone else.

Sitting face to face
takes courage.
So does looking into the fire
without a mask.

So does saying:
this is where I failed.
This is where I was afraid.
This is what I didn’t know.
This is what I know now.

We are not here to pretend
we have done everything right.
We are here to remain honest
enough to keep becoming.

And sisterhood,
real sisterhood,
is not the absence of shadow.
It is the courage
to protect what is sacred
without turning our hearts to stone.

To speak.
To listen.
To ask before believing.
To tell the truth
even when the truth is uncomfortable.
To remember the women
who should still be sitting beside us.

To remember Vanessa. 🤍

To remember that our children
are watching.
These girls will inherit
more than our stories.
They will inherit
what we teach them to do
with grief,
with disagreement,
with love,
with power,
with one another.

So let them see us
with our faces uncovered.

Let them see us stumble
and still reach for each other.

Let them see us protect one another
without pretending we are perfect.

Let them see us choose the work
over the gossip,
the truth over the story,
the future over the fear.

Because this work is bigger than us.
It did not begin with us.
It will not end with us.
And I don’t believe
our ancestors brought us this far
so we could settle for the minimum.

There is still work to do.

There are still fires to tend.

There are still sisters to protect.

And there are flowers

we still need to place

in the hands of our children.

So we will look up.
We will show up.
No mask.
No perfect story.
Just an open heart,
a little more wisdom
than we had yesterday,
and enough courage
to keep walking beside the women
who are willing to walk beside us.

The fire knows.

The children are watching.

And we are still here. 🕊️🕊️💫

As World Breastfeeding Week begins, I’m honoring the mothers.

The quiet, unseen labor of nourishing new life. The countless hours of holding, comforting, learning, and loving through exhaustion.

Breastfeeding is natural, but it doesn’t always come naturally. It takes education, encouragement, skilled support, and a community willing to stand beside a mother instead of leaving her to figure it out alone.

I believe every mother deserves that village.

I also recognize that every family’s journey is unique. Some mothers breastfeed. Some can’t. Some use donor milk, formula, or a combination of many paths. Every baby deserves to be nourished with love, and every mother deserves compassion, support, and informed choice whichever path they take.

This week, I also honor the people who help make that possible.

To the lactation consultants sharing their knowledge.
To the doulas and birth workers holding sacred space.
To the healthcare professionals committed to evidence-based breastfeeding support.
To the businesses, workplaces, and community spaces that welcome breastfeeding families.
To the partners, grandparents, friends, neighbors, and communities showing up in big and small ways.

Thank you.

You are helping rebuild the village.

Women’s bodies deserve to be respected, they’re not here to be looked at or criticized. Women’s bodies do extraordinary sacred work, creating, nourishing, and sustaining life.

If you’re expecting, navigating postpartum, or supporting someone who is, know that there is support. I’m happy to connect you, send you resources or simply listen.

May we continue creating communities where mothers are trusted, babies are nurtured, and every family has access to the support they deserve.

Some of the most important work will never be applauded.

It is found in the meals prepared before anyone arrives.
In the altar built before the first prayer is spoken.
In the child who feels safe enough to fall asleep.
In the elder whose story is listened to one more time.
In the seeds planted by hands that know they may never witness the harvest.

It lives in mothers.
In fathers.
In caretakers.
In Indigenous communities who continue to carry memory through generations.
In those who quietly hold families, neighborhoods, traditions, ceremonies, and hope together.

This kind of labor is rarely measured because it is rooted in relationship, not recognition.

We inherit so much from people whose names we may never know.
Those who protected the land, kept the songs alive, remembered the medicines.

Those who raised children with tenderness despite impossible circumstances.

Those who chose generosity over resentment, and continued tending life when no one was watching.

I find myself thinking often about this quiet force.

How many people are carrying the world in ordinary ways while algorithms reward visibility, urgency, and performance?

Perhaps the strongest roots are rarely seen.

May we remember to honor the hands behind the beauty.
May we thank the ones whose devotion is woven into everyday life.
May we become people who notice what cannot always be counted.

The future is often built by the people with the least amount of time to document it.

The world is held together by more invisible hands than visible ones.

And for them, I am deeply grateful.

Black Moon Council | Ancestral Woman Rite & Celebration 🌑✨

For the first time in San Antonio, we gather in sacred women’s circle with Andrea Calderón, RainCloud—Spiritual Kuraka and medicine woman rooted in the Andean Cosmovision, with over 25 years walking the path of traditional medicine.

This is a devoted space for women to come together in prayer, remembrance, and celebration—guided by Andrea’s sacred medicine chants, ancestral teachings, and traditional to***co ritual.

Together, we will weave connection through song, spirit, and presence, held in circle and supported by ceremonial cacao, facilitated by Diana of Goddess Heart SATX. A night to honor the wisdom of the feminine, to listen, soften, and remember.

Mayan Cross Readings with The Twins, Juan & Miguel León Cortez (Ajq’ij’ab)
Translation by Diana Dos Santos

I’ve been sitting with something tender.
As Mayan wisdom becomes more visible and shared, we are also witnessing how easily it can be taken out of context or offered without direct lineage, permission, or relationship.
At the same time, true Mayan elders—those who have carried these teachings for generations—are often navigating very real challenges, including access to basic needs and medical care.

This is where we are being called to act.
I’m honored to support the Twins, Juan and Miguel León Cortez, Ajq’ij’ab (Mayan K’iche spiritual guides) from Chichicastenango, Guatemala, by offering live translation for individual Mayan Cross readings.

These are not generalized or commercialized readings.
They come from lived practice, ceremony, and ancestral continuity.
All proceeds from these sessions will go directly to them as they move through current medical expenses.

Scheduling and receiving these readings also invites a different rhythm.
This may require patience, flexibility, and understanding—honoring the pace of the elders, the realities of technology, cultural differences, and their deep life of service. Even within an exchange, we are being invited into grace.

If this resonates, please fill out the Google form to request a reading (link in bio)

This is an invitation to:
• receive guidance from true lineage holders
• engage in right relationship and reciprocity
• support the preservation of living Mayan traditions

May this bridge remain rooted in humility, reciprocity, and right relationship—always guided by those who carry the wisdom.🤎

Hijas de la Tierra 💫 Earth Daughters Women’s Gathering

A whisper from the soil…
a remembering in the bones…
a call to gather as women of the Earth.
We come together as hijas de la tierra—woven of root and breath,
of ancestral memory,
walking the path of the sacred with humility and devotion.

In this circle, we open gently…
with the sacred smoke of to***co,
a limpia shared in prayer and guided by the teachings of our Mayan K’iche elder
clearing the unseen, softening what is ready to be released.

We drink cacao…
the medicine of the heart,
the warm embrace that reminds us how to feel, how to listen, how to return.

And we rest into sound…
into vibration, into stillness,
held in frequencies that carry us inward and home.
