Moles are incredibly common, and most are harmless. The important part is knowing what’s normal for your skin and paying attention when something looks, feels or behaves differently.

A good rule: keep an eye out for moles that are new, changing, itching, bleeding or simply look different from the others. And if a mole is constantly irritated by clothing, jewelry or shaving, we can evaluate that too.
