As we are ending the 2025-2026 school year, I would love to hear your most valuable victory for your child and well as your biggest hurdle.

If you feel comfortable sharing the district you are in, this will help, as it will help other families identify they are not alone with possible struggles.

I truly feel and have seen, in the almost 30 years of working with families, it is with forming these common bonds we can help our children best!

I am very curious. With the timeline now passed. How many parents fell into this? The timeline of now having your evaluation completed in time to be able to apply for the additional funds for your child to receive special education funds?

Confusion over the program’s special education requirements is making it difficult for families to meet a looming deadline — and creating more work for Texas school districts.

Hello to all! Many of my parents have been calling with questions on were to find their students Texas Unique Identifier (UID) as they are receiving e-mails back from their TEFA applications. Here is a link which should assist you with this.

If you are having difficulty with the link and you have access to your child’s portal. You can also check under their State Texting tab for STAAR as should be listed in this area or you can also check their student report card. You are looking for a 10 digit number as their (UID).
