People created fake profiles pretending to be me. They used my salon’s business address to convince people they were legitimate. Victims sent them money thinking they were booking with me. One day, a customer’s husband came looking for answers and even called the police to my salon because he believed I had taken their money. I had to explain that I was a victim too and that scammers had stolen my identity. It was one of the most stressful days of my life, but it taught me the importance of protecting my business and warning my clients to book only through my official pages.”
