outdid himself again. I sent him some basic concepts and this dude never ceases to amaze me at how talented and attentive to detail he is. I have never had an appointment with him where a first placement was tattooed and he always is the equivalent of “measure twice cut once” which is super important in his game. This exercise is one I have given for years for those who have pain benching. It allows the scapula to move and hits glute and oblique as well.

It’s always great when I get a book recommendation right before a vacation.

I’ve read a couple fiction books this year that hit me right where they needed at the right time. This one along with Theo of Golden are in that category.

Reading The Sideways Life of Denny Voss is a mixture of peeking behind the curtain into a neurodivergent mind (even though anyone who knows me would not describe me as neurotypical), yearning to feel that childlike wonder, curiosity and innocence, getting slapped in the face with how cruel the world can be on a micro scale to those like Denny, and celebrating that there are many different types of intelligence all having value in society.

This book is similar to Ted Lasso where it will make you laugh out loud on one page, want to rip the page out on the next and drip tears on the following page. That takes a lot for me in any film, show or written work so take a bow Holly Kennedy.
