I love my kid’s friends I just do.

If my kid loves you, congratulations I do too, you’ve now gained me as a fan, an advocate, and a bonus mom.

I love being the mom who gives rides, the mom who hosts sleepovers, and the mom who buys McDonald’s at midnight.

I don’t know, but friendship is one of the things I cherish most in life, and I want my kids to cherish it too. I want to create space and make them their friends feel at home. I want them to walk in the door like the own the place because they know they belong.

Growing up is hard, my kids have their friends parents and their friends have us. They need it all. As many people routing for them as possible.

So I’m buying extra snacks and filling the fridge and staying up way too late, because investing in my kids and investing in their friendships is my favorite.
