One year ago, Al took a chance on tattooing.
What started as an apprenticeship quickly became late nights, practice sessions, challenges, milestones, victories, and countless hours dedicated to becoming the artist they are today.
As a studio owner, there are moments that remind you why you do all of this.
Watching Al grow has been one of those moments.
I’ve watched them push through self-doubt, celebrate wins, take creative risks, connect with clients, and continue showing up even when things felt difficult. Every month they’ve become more confident, not just as a tattoo artist, but as a person.
What makes me proud isn’t only the tattoos they’ve created over the last year.
It’s their kindness.
Their willingness to learn.
Their dedication to growth.
And the way they’ve helped make Wizardry feel like a safe and welcoming space for so many people.
