Spinal Cord Injury Prevention Month is a reminder of the importance of awareness, safety and support for individuals and families impacted by spinal cord injuries. 💙

Spinal cord injuries can drastically change someone’s life, affecting mobility, independence and long-term health. Prevention, education, rehabilitation and strong community connections all play an important role in helping individuals move forward.

At Warm Springs Foundation, we are proud to support partners and programs that expand access to compassionate care, critical resources and life-altering possibilities for individuals and families across our communities.

For 36 years, Helen Eversberg has served Warm Springs Foundation with compassion, conviction and a deep belief in restoring hope after life-altering trauma.

As Board Chair, Helen has helped guide the organization through pivotal seasons of growth, change and renewed purpose. Her commitment began after hearing the powerful stories of patients whose lives had been touched by Warm Springs, and that calling has continued to shape her vision for the Foundation today.

Helen believes Warm Springs can be a beacon of hope, a catalyst for transformative solutions and a source of care, compassion and innovation for individuals and families navigating neurotrauma and life-altering injuries.

“Warm Springs will continue to help those whose lives have been affected by life-altering trauma, making the impossible, possible.” – Helen Eversberg

Leaders like Helen serve and help move our mission forward. But service is not just about giving time; it is about carrying a legacy forward with courage, compassion and purpose.

Wellness is more than a routine. It shapes how we move, rest, recover and care for our overall health. Yet many adults are not getting the movement or sleep their bodies and minds need to feel their best. The good news is that wellness does not have to start with perfection. Even small, consistent steps can support long-term health and well-being.

At Warm Springs Foundation, we’re proud to support organizations that expand access to rehabilitation, adaptive recreation and community-based programs that promote strength, independence, connection and quality of life. 💙

Wellness matters. Small steps matter. Please share to help keep empowerment flowing. ✨

When Eva Maldonado was born with Down syndrome and congenital heart defects, her family faced an uncertain road filled with medical challenges, therapy and important developmental milestones.

With support from Brighton Center, Eva strengthened her skills, found new ways to communicate and continued to give her family confidence they had found the right place for early childhood intervention.

“I was certain that Eva had the right team on her side.” – Blanca Maldonado

Neurotrauma can change life in an instant. For individuals and families impacted by traumatic brain injury, the effects can be devastating, shaping independence, daily life, long-term health and in some cases, survival.

Because recovery is often long-term, access to rehabilitation, ongoing care, community support and connection can help improve quality of life and create new pathways toward independence.

At Warm Springs Foundation, we’re proud to support organizations that promote recovery, connection and possibility for individuals living with neurotrauma and disabilities. 💙

Disability pride matters. Support matters. Please share to help keep empowerment flowing. ✨

Have you picked up your copy yet? 💙📖

We’re celebrating André Greene and his memoir, “Keep Calm & Live On!,” which was published exactly 10 years after his life-altering bicycle accident. The title has become André’s mindset that carried him through his traumatic brain injury, his recovery and finding his purpose in the years since.

Andre’s story of resilience, recovery and purpose continues to inspire us, and we’re honored to support him as he shares his journey with others.

Congratulations, Andre! ✨ Pick up a copy of his memoir: https://www.dregreene.com/
