I couldn’t wait to share this one. 🤩✨

One of my favorite things about filler is that when it’s done correctly, it doesn’t make you look like someone else, it helps you look like the most refreshed, confident version of yourself.

A few months ago, we started by building her foundation with Sculptra and then Dysport. Yesterday, we added almost 6 syringes of RHA filler throughout multiple areas of the face, including the temples, cheeks, & chin.

Seeing her confidence after treatment was the best part of the day. 🥹🙌🏼

Continuing education is extremely important to us. ✨

Techniques and products are constantly changing, and there’s always something new to learn, whether it’s a different approach or a fresh perspective that helps us do things better for our patients.

So grateful to Revance Aesthetics and Dr. Rivas for coming in and doing a 1:1 training this morning with Heather and myself. Hands-on education like this is what helps us keep growing and refining what we do.

And honestly, that moment at the end when we handed her the mirror, that smile is exactly why I love what I get to do. 🥹

It’s never about changing who you are, it’s about helping you feel more confident and like the best version of yourself so you can carry that out into the world. Today was such a good reminder of that. 🫶🏼✨💖

“All I want is a lip I can put lipstick on.” 💋

This sweet patient has always had naturally thin lips and wanted a little more shape and definition while still looking like herself.

For her first treatment, we used a little over half a syringe of RHA 2 to begin building volume and support. While it may be tempting to do more all at once, lips like these are often best approached slowly and strategically. This allows us to maintain a natural result while carefully assessing how the tissue responds.

This is just the beginning of her journey. She’ll return in a few weeks, and we’ll likely add a bit more filler, discuss a lip flip to help gently roll the upper lip outward, and explore collagen-stimulating treatments to address the collagen and elastin loss that naturally occurs around the mouth over time.

Ever feel like your upper lip disappears when you smile? 👀

A lip flip might be perfect for you! ✨

A lip flip uses a small amount of Dysport to relax the muscle around the upper lip. When that muscle relaxes, the lip gently “flips” outward, allowing more of your natural lip to show. It doesn’t add volume like filler, it simply enhances the shape of the lip you already have. It’s a great option for patients who want a subtle change, are nervous about filler, or feel like their lip tucks under when they smile.

AND…. Let’s talk 11s. Those lines between your eyebrows (your “11s”) are one of the most common concerns I hear about.

Dysport helps relax the muscles that create those lines, softening their appearance and preventing them from becoming deeper over time.

Sometimes the most impactful results come from treating the areas that bother you every time you look in the mirror…not changing your face, just helping you feel more confident in it. 💉✨😌

One of the biggest reasons I love customized treatment plans? No two patients have the same goals. ✨

For this sweet patient, her crow’s feet were her biggest concern. She also didn’t want her forehead to feel heavy, so we created a treatment plan that addressed her concerns while keeping everything looking and feeling natural.

The result? Softer lines around the eyes, natural movement, and a subtle lift that helps her eyes appear more open and refreshed.

This is why I don’t believe in treating everyone the same way. The best results come from listening to your goals and creating a plan specifically for you.

Most people know about treating the forehead and crow’s feet with tox, but one of my favorite areas to treat is the chin. ✨

This patient received Daxxify to the forehead, glabella, crow’s feet, and chin. While the upper face looks beautifully refreshed, the chin is where I think the biggest difference is.

Overactive chin muscles can create a dimpled or “orange peel” appearance and can also contribute to tension in the lower face. By relaxing those muscles, we can soften chin dimpling, create a smoother appearance, and even help improve the overall balance of the lower face and jawline.

The result is subtle, but it makes a difference. The chin looks smoother, more relaxed, and the lower face appears softer and more refined, without looking overdone. 🙌🏼😌

One thing I’ve learned as an injector is that the actual treatment is only part of what matters.

The relationship and trust between a patient and provider matter just as much. 🫶🏼

When you’re trusting someone with your face, your time, and your money, you deserve honest recommendations and realistic expectations.

If I don’t think something will benefit you, I’ll tell you. If I think there is a better option, I’ll explain why. If I think waiting is the best decision, I’ll tell you that too.

Aesthetics should never feel like a sales appointment. My goal is for patients to feel educated, comfortable, and confident in the decisions they make, whether that’s treatment today, treatment later, or no treatment at all.

At the end of the day, I want my patients to know that my recommendations come from a place of genuinely wanting the best outcome for them.

That’s the type of provider I would want for myself, and it’s the type of provider I try to be for my patients every day. 💗
