A new month can bring new goals, new connections, and new possibilities.

Rolling Start, Inc. invites adults living with traumatic brain injury to join From Brain Injury to Wellness—an encouraging eight-session workshop designed to help participants build confidence and develop practical tools for everyday life.

Together, we’ll explore:

✨ Meaningful goal setting
🧘 Managing stress and emotions
💬 Healthy communication
🤝 Building a support network
🥗 Nutrition and physical activity
📣 Self-advocacy and community resources

📅 Every Tuesday and Thursday
⏰ 3:30 PM–5:00 PM
💻 Classes held online through Zoom
🎓 Final celebration held in person

This month promotes education, advocacy, research, and support for those affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). It also celebrates the strength and resilience of the SMA community while encouraging greater understanding and inclusion.

Thanks to our wonderful partnership with the Child Care Resource Center (CCRC), Rolling Start Inc. received an incredible donation of hygiene supplies to help individuals throughout San Bernardino County.

Together, we’ve assembled hygiene care packages filled with essential items to support people with disabilities, veterans, and seniors in our community. These supplies can make a meaningful difference by helping individuals maintain their health, dignity, and well-being.

The photo below shows just some of the generous donations we received that are being transformed into hygiene care packages.

Disability advocacy is built on collaboration, and we’re honored to stand alongside Independent Living Centers, advocacy organizations, and dedicated partners from across the country during the ADA36 “We Won’t Go Back” Disability Rights March in Washington, D.C.

Events like these remind us that real progress happens when we unite our voices in support of accessibility, inclusion, and the rights of people with disabilities. Every organization, advocate, and ally plays an important role in moving our communities forward.

Together, we continue to champion a future where everyone has the opportunity to live independently and thrive.

Advocacy in Action on Capitol Hill 💜

Rolling Start Inc. was proud to join disability advocates and Independent Living leaders in Washington, D.C. to meet with policymakers and discuss the issues that matter most to people with disabilities. We got to talk to Senator Adam Schiff and other California Representatives like Pete Aguilar, and more.

From a Senate breakfast to visits with congressional offices, these conversations help amplify the voices of our community and advance accessibility, equity, and independent living for all.

Together, we’re ensuring that disability rights remain at the forefront, because accessibility isn’t optional, it’s essential.
