At Daydream MD We Do Health & Wellness Differently. Daydream MD combines a unique approach to talk therapy with integrative psychiatry, holistic medical practices, cutting edge psychedelic therapy and wellness offerings. We start by understanding who you are and what you want to become. All patients undergo a comprehensive initial evaluation process. We want to understand if there are specific pro

blems you're addressing, deep seated traumas you would like to heal or if you’re simply looking to keep growing as a human. We then match you with providers who are best suited to your needs, culture and background. We do therapy differently. Our therapists focus on achieving measurable results using collaboration and constant evaluation of desired progress. We pair evidence based and integrative practices together, and layer therapeutic gains with ketamine therapy, mindfulness practices, breathwork, somatic exercises, art therapy, group work, ecotherapy, biofield therapies and more. Our treatment team works closely with our mental health and medical providers to create synergistic plans of care that accelerate your growth. We support you in making sustainable progress towards your goals. We do mental health medication differently. Depending on what you need and want, we utilize a full spectrum of tools, including conventional medications, ketamine therapy, supplements and wellness practices to address your needs. We recognize that not everyone wants to take medication everyday and can provide solutions to honor that. We do medical care differently. We offer medical care services for wellness, not sickness. Improving your mental health may involve optimizing your sleep, managing your weight, enhancing your sleep, or myriad other potential avenues that a typical PCP may not be familiar with. All of our practitioners coordinate care to provide integrated care focused on what you need to create sustainable results to assist you on your path forward.

It's easy to fall into a routine and use the same injection spot out of habit. But injecting in the same place week after week can cause the tissue underneath to change, and that can actually slow down how well the medication absorbs.

Rotating keeps things working the way they're supposed to and helps you avoid soreness or lumps building up in one area. A small habit, but one that makes a real difference over months of treatment. Save this and set a reminder if you tend to forget.

Team member of the month: Dr. Meghan Fagundes

Dr. Fagundes has spent over two decades in the rooms most systems overlook—community mental health, inpatient care, prison systems—working with people carrying the heaviest kinds of trauma.

They're trained in MDMA-assisted therapy through MAPS, hold certifications in ketamine and psychedelic-assisted therapy, and specialize in somatic approaches like polyvagal theory, IFS, and EMDR. Alongside their clinical work, they teach behavioral neuroscience at Alliant University.

At Daydream MD, they bring that same depth to every session. Trauma-informed, evidence-based, and never one-size-fits-all.

Grateful to have them on the team. 💙

If you’d like to work with Meghan, head to the link in our bio to schedule a consultation.

We don’t need another longevity test.
We need patients to actually do the thing.

That’s the idea behind my talk at MVMNT 2026.

Longevity medicine is getting very good at:

🧬 diagnostics
💉 interventions
⌚ wearables
📊 biomarkers
🤖 AI

But the patient still leaves the office.

And between visits, people:

→ stop the GLP-1
→ abandon the exercise plan
→ disappear after treatment
→ ignore the abnormal ApoB
→ never schedule the follow-up
→ quietly drift

That’s the last mile of medicine.

My talk is about how practices can build a tech-enabled human behavior-change system right now:

Find the failure point → sense the drift → trigger outreach → deliver the right intervention → route it to the right human → learn from what happens.

No sci-fi platform required.

Then, as AI + wearables get better, you plug them into a system that already knows what to do with the signal.

Build the loop now. Upgrade the sensors later.

I’ll be speaking at MVMNT 2026 in Coronado on September 23.

The Last Mile of Longevity: Building the Behavior-Change System Your Practice Is Missing

From the outside, a ketamine session looks quiet.

What's actually happening is more active than it looks, a real window of neuroplasticity, a chance for the brain to build something new.

This isn't just about how you feel that afternoon. It's about what the brain does with that window over time.

Long term brain health isn't a separate goal from this. It's the point.

Follow if you think about mental health as part of a longer game.

Nobody talks enough about what happens after the GLP-1, only what happens on it.

When the dose drops, appetite suppression drops with it. Ghrelin can come back stronger before it settles, and regained weight tends to lean toward fat if muscle wasn't being protected the whole time.

None of this means the medication failed. It means the maintenance phase needs its own plan, not an afterthought.

Save this before you start tapering, not after.

Hormones move throughout the day and across a cycle, and a single snapshot can miss the pattern entirely. Timing changes what a panel can actually catch, and what it might miss. Make sure you remember this before you make any decisions based on one number. 🙏

Labs in one appointment. How you're actually feeling in a different one, if it happens at all.

But inflammation is linked to depression and brain fog. Blood sugar swings affect mood and focus. Cortisol dysregulation shows up as anxiety and bad sleep at the same time.

These were never separate systems. They're one system, showing up in different places.

Mental health isn't a side conversation from longevity. It's one of the clearest predictors of it.

Follow if you think about your mind as part of the plan, not separate from it.
