Real talk: lip filler doesn’t have to mean bigger lips.

This client didn’t want any added volume in her lower lip. What she wanted was a softer, rounder cupid’s bow and a little more symmetry up top — and that’s it.

So that’s what we did. Upper lip only. The Swedish technique I trained on in Stockholm makes this kind of precision possible — subtle volume exactly where it belongs, and nothing where it doesn’t.

The result: balanced, natural, and still completely her.

Real talk: she just wanted more lifted cheekbones. 👀

And here’s what surprised her — we shaped the cheekbones she came in for, but the bigger change came from filling deeper, in the center of the cheek. That’s the deep cushion that holds the mid-face up from the inside, and it’s one of the first places we lose volume as we age. Rebuild it, and the whole face looks more supported and rested — without looking fuller on the surface.

Then a little chin to bring everything into balance — something she didn’t ask for, wasn’t sure about, and is now obsessed with.

Here’s the thing about facial balancing — the spot you think is the problem usually isn’t the whole story. Treat the face as one canvas, and you get something a single syringe on its own can’t give you: a slimmer, lifted, more rested version of you.Same woman. Just more her. ✨

So grateful to Dr. Rebecka Gardell for forever changing my approach to lips. She created the Swedish lip technique — the technique lips have needed since filler was invented — and she is as sweet and humble as she is brilliant and innovative. A huge thank you to her and her team — Iva, Valentina, and Julia — for making this one of the best training experiences ever.

Real talk: masseter tox doesn’t always slim the face the way social media promises.

Some faces have fullness that’s not muscle-driven, some need more time, some need a different approach entirely.

This beautiful client got A LOT of masseter tox — and while it softened her lower face, the real transformation came from building balance and lift up top. Cheek filler, Radiesse along the preauricular area, and a Nefertiti lift gave her the lifted, refreshed look you see here.

The lesson: chasing one feature rarely gets you a beautiful result. Full-face thinking does.
