Is taking HIV medication every day hard for your teen?
For many teens living with HIV, staying on a daily pill routine can be challenging. The CROWN study is researching an investigational injectable HIV treatment for teens ages 12–17, with injections given every 2 months.
Your teen may qualify if they:
• Are 12–17 years old
• Have an HIV viral load >1,000
• Are taking or have taken HIV pills, or have a prescription for pills that have been difficult to take regularly
If you are a parent/caregiver or teen interested in learning more, we would be glad to talk with you.
